San Jose Water Company Bill Payment Options
This free safe and secure service allows you to not have to worry any longer with paper bills. You will be able to view your bill any time you like from anywhere you have internet access. You billing statement will be sent out to you each month when it is ready for viewing via email. In order to sign up for paperless billing you will need to register your account. If you would like to have your bank account debit each month, you may enroll in automatic payments. You can choose to have your checking or savings account debited each month for the amount due. You will receive your paper bill in the mail around three weeks before the deduction will take place. This will allow you plenty of time to address any questions for concerns you may have regarding your bill. After you have filled out the application for automatic payments, you will need to return it to San Jose Water.

All you will need to do is provide your account number, the amount of your payment and the banking information you wish to use. Payments by Mail
You are always welcome to make your payments through the mail. You may send your check payment back to the address provided on your billing statement. Be sure to allow plenty of time for your bill to reach the office when mailing it, to avoid any adverse actions. It is recommended not to send cash in the mail and not to staple any portion of your bill or payment. Make sure you make your checks payable to San Jose Water Company and write your account number on your check.
Payments Over the Phone
San Jose offers an automatic phone in system that allows you to make your payments over the phone. When you use this system, you will need to have your 11-digit account number ready along with your banking information. This service is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. There is no charge for using the automated phone system. If you would like to make a payment using this system, you can call 1-855-771-7900. If your account were on alert or subject to disconnection, it would be best to call a customer service agent directly at 1-408-279-7900. You can reach an agent between the hours of 8 and 5:30 Monday through Friday.
Pay in Person
You can make payments in person at 110 W. Taylor Street San Jose, CA between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m Monday through Friday. Payments that are accepted in person are, cash, check, money order, cashiers check, MasterCard, Visa or Discover. You must bring a valid identification card with you if you chose to make your payment via credit card. Outside the office is a drop box where payments can be left after hours. These will be collected the next business day. Payments accepted in the drop boxes are cash, check, money order, or cashiers check.
